Fieragricola 2026 grows in both attendance and quality: more visitors from southern italy and stronger international business networking

More than 100,000 visitors attended the 117th edition, which concluded today at ������Ƶ, with increased participation from Southern Italy and a highly qualified professional audience, as confirmed by exhibitors. The next edition will take place from 2 to 5 February 2028.

Verona, 7 February 2026 – Fieragricola closed its 117th edition today with more than 100,000 visitors, further strengthening its position as a leading international trade fair for the primary sector.

This year, ������Ƶ’s event embraced a “Full Innovation” format, offering cutting-edge technological solutions and practical answers for industry professionals—including farmers, livestock breeders, contractors, agronomists, agricultural surveyors, agrotechnicians, veterinarians, feed specialists, energy managers and dealers—supporting a more productive and environmentally sustainable agriculture capable of addressing the challenges of climate change while working in synergy with supply chains and responding to evolving consumer expectations.

In this context, the exhibition hosted the inaugural edition of the General Assembly of Livestock Farming, organized by Fieragricola together with Assalzoo, the Italian feed industry association, as well as the signing of an agreement with Filiera Italia aimed at promoting the sustainable production of biofuels.

The broad scope of the exhibition—covering agricultural machinery, livestock farming, high-value specialty crops such as vineyards, orchards and olive groves, renewable energy, smart irrigation technologies, digitalization, biosolutions for soil protection and a wide range of services—represents significant added value for visitors. It reflects the evolution of the modern agricultural enterprise, which is increasingly interconnected, technologically advanced and focused on multifunctionality as a key driver of added value.

Fieragricola continues to serve as a platform that accelerates technology transfer, connecting research with companies and markets. The exhibition also plays a strategic role in fostering dialogue among industry associations, businesses and institutions, starting with the Ministry of Agriculture.”

On the domestic front, attendance from Southern Italy increased by 10%, with peaks of 30% growth from Calabria and Sicily, thanks to promotional campaigns and roadshows organized across the Mezzogiorno in the two years leading up to the exhibition.

Internationalization also continued to grow, confirming Fieragricola’s role as a bridge for the Mediterranean region and as a key platform for addressing technological innovation needs across Africa.

From 4 to 7 February, 816 exhibitors from 14 countries—China, Lebanon, Türkiye, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France and Hungary—met with international delegations and buyers, thanks to the collaboration with ITA – Italian Trade Agency, from 28 countries worldwide, including Algeria, Albania, Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Ecuador, Egypt, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Libya, North Macedonia, Moldova, Mozambique, Peru, Poland, Romania, Senegal, Serbia, Spain, Tunisia, Türkiye, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Agribusiness development was further supported by an extensive conference programme featuring more than 130 seminars and conferences dedicated to professional training and knowledge sharing for agricultural operators.

The next edition of Fieragricola is scheduled to take place at ������Ƶ from 2 to 5 February 2028.
